Occupation: Firefighter

Type of Runner: Jogger
Favourite Salomon Shoe & why: It was the Speedcross 2 but now it’s the Fellcross made for the fell’s, low profile, well cushioned with a unique new grip.
Favourite distance: Any distance really, as long as I’m competing
Favourite race or event: The Maratòn Alpina Zegama-Aizkorri in Spain is a fantastic race, really well organised, great course and the people there can’t do enough for you, the full 42km route is lined with the people of Zegama shouting and cheering, the atmosphere is electric. Definitely one I’d recommend.
Favourite Training session: Track session or a hill session, anything which leaves me feeling as though I’ve had a really hard run.
Favoured pre- race meal/ snack: Bananas, before, during and after… and Red bull for the shorter races.
Best piece of advice for beginners and young athletes: Keep at it… A lot of runners set off with high expectations, you’re never going to be the best runner from the word go, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication.
Interests and Hobbies: Jogging, whistling, flying
