PB’s: – 25.04 – Five miles. That’s it as I’ve not done much running of specific distances.
Age: 26
How long have you been running?: Seriously for about five/six years, I used to jog before that.
Achievements: Yorkshire cross country champion, third in Northern cross country, second team at world student cross country, International vest at European mountain running trophy, third in English fell running championship.
Goals: Improve on my championship positions. Get some PB’s!
Racing Programme for 2009: Starting with cross-country and then a mixture of sky races and domestic fell running. Hopefully I will also go to the World Mountain Running Championship
Occupation: Student (although hopefully not for much longer!)

Type of Runner: I tend to be better on the slightly faster Fell running courses and the muddy cross country courses.
Favourite Salomon Shoe & why: Speedcross 2 – it has a good mixture of comfort and grip, and is hardwearing.
Favourite distance: Anything from about 5 to 13 miles
Favourite race or event: Dolomites Skyrace
Favourite Training session: Probably a five mile threshold run.
Favoured pre- race meal/ snack: Porridge about four hours before a race.
Best piece of advice for beginners and young athletes: Be patient, it takes time to do well.
Interests and Hobbies: Cycling, football (watching West Ham), my PhD.
