Achievements: Twice winner of the Transalpine Run (2009 & 10), winner of multiple mountain marathons (LAMM, OMM, BAMM)
Goals: To have fun and hopefully win the odd race along the way

Based: Central Scotland – but soon relocating to the south of France

Favourite race or event: Western route of the Transalpine Run
Favourite Training session: A long plod in the hills with a group of like-minded runners
Favoured pre- race meal/ snack: cheese and marmalade sarnies
Best piece of advice for beginners and young athletes: Enjoy yourself and don’t put pressure on yourself – trail running is a hobby and it’s for fun.
Interests and Hobbies: travelling, biking, eating curries, teaching our two-year old to ride a bike…
