After a week in Provence and even the odd sighting of bear-chested Brits on the summit of Mont Ventoux (ok, it was a bit cold), it was beginning to feel quite summery…

But that didn’t last long.

This week in Scotland we’ve had some pretty extreme winds and regular flurries of sleet and snow. But when the sun does shine, as it was doing at 8am this morning on the top of the Ochil Hills, the scenery is spectacular with the sun glistening of the ice-topped snow.

Bit slow going though… the new grippy shoes we’re developing with the Salomon footwear team make things easier mind!…

So summer’s due to arrive next week then, right?…
